Are you interested in a career in IT Support? IT Support Training in Seattle offers the opportunity to earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and the CompTIA A+ certification, equipping you with the knowledge to fill a wide range of entry-level technology jobs.

Like all Per Scholas programs, the IT Support program is TUITION-FREE and includes live, instructor-led learning, professional development, learner support (wraparound services), financial coaching, as well as job placement support for up to 2 years after graduation!

NOTE: There are no part-time options for these programs. All applicants must have the ability to attend ALL classes. All applicants must be able to furnish their own transportation arrangements to the Seattle Per Scholas site.

 

What You'll Learn

Fundamentals of IT Support

Understand basic IT infrastructure, configuration, and managing systems and devices.

Computer Hardware and Operating Systems

Identify hardware components, disassemble and assembly. Configure device operating systems and support PC, mobile and IoT device hardware.

IT Support Practices and Technologies

Learn to troubleshoot hardware and software problems on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, and a variety of other devices.

Program Format:  Live, Remote

Schedule:  9AM to 4PM PT (Mon-Fri)

Dates:  June 17, 2024 to September, 2024 (13-15 weeks)

 

Candidates must meet the following enrollment requirements:

  • Have not taken a Per Scholas class before
  • Are aged 18 or older
  • Have a High School diploma, equivalent, or higher
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Live within commutable distance of the Seattle Per Scholas site
  • Can read, write and speak in English
  • Are able to attend classes full-time (40 hours/week, M-F) for the entire duration of the course
    • Within the crucial first week of class, any absence will immediately remove you from the program
  • Are committed to actively search for a IT Support job after course completion
  • Are able to begin a full-time job after course completion
  • Meet the pre-training income policy guidelines
