Discovery Program Overview
- Learn a programming language fundamentals
- Apply learnings through project based application under the guidance of Microsoft employees
- Gain mentorship with Microsoft employees
- Develop career readiness skills (social emotional, networking, communication, etc.)
- Gain an understanding of Microsoft’s history, culture, and technologies
- Provide continue learning & development resources to build on experience
Program Qualifications Application opens March 1:
- Rising college first year students that live within 50 miles of Redmond, Washington
- Have demonstrated an interest in technology
- Demonstrated interest in majoring in a STEM related major
- Completed pre-calculus or an equivalent course by the start of the program
- Be at least 16 years old and have a legal right to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program
- Be available to participate full-time for 4 consecutive weeks (July 11- August 5,2022)
- All high school seniors that live within 50 miles of Redmond, Washington are welcome to apply
